Before you send us your artwork please check the following information, which will tell you how to set it up correctly for our machines:
Our machine gives better colour reproduction with CMYK files. We can convert your files if you are unsure.
Your file should be set up at at least 100dpi at the size you wish to print. For larger files you can set your artwork to 50% or 25%, but your artwork must be set at 150dpi or 300dpi respectively.
Example: if you wish a print 1200mm x 1200mm you could set the file size to full size at 100 dpi, 600mm x 600mm (at 150dpi) or 300mm x 300mm (at 300dpi).
Our preferred file formats are EPS or PDF, but we can accept most file formats apart from Quark and Corel Draw files, including native Illustrator and InDesign files up to CS3.
Vector artwork can be set at any scale as long as it is stated with the order, although it is always advisable to set your artwork at 100% to avoid any confusion.
Vector files should be sent with all fonts outlined and any linked files embedded or sent separately.
Wherever possible please set up your files with crop marks, especially if it has a white background. For images that need to be laid up by us please add a 5mm bleed around your artwork.
If you need your print decal cut (s/a vinyls only) please set your artwork up as follows:
If you are unsure then we can set up your cut path for you (please provide your cut path as a separate vector file). Please call to talk to us as complex paths may incur a small fee to set up.
